This meeting is organised by UN Environment Programme (UNEP) West Asia OzonAction Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP), Law Division, in partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

Aim was to strengthen the capacity of governments and industry in developing countries to elaborate and enforce the policies required to implement the Montreal Protocol on Substances that deplete the Ozone Layer, and to make informed decisions about alternative technologies, in order to meet and sustain their compliance obligations under the treaty.
